Writing had been a hobby for Jessica May Broyles, but after winning a short story competition in 2014, she realized she truly enjoyed the writing process and has since written several short stories. In 2021, she wrote two stories for an anthology published by Space Coast Writer's Guild titled, Mischief. The first one, Little Petey, placed third in the writing competition. Her other story is called Little Foot.  In 2022, she published another short story in an anthology titled, Hope. This one took fifth place. All of her stories have unique endings with the goal of staying with the reader long after they've finished reading them. She plans to combine them all into her own anthology to be published in 2023.

The Nested Charmer, A Matryoshka's Hidden Legacy is Jessica's first novel. It's a tale involving romance, mystery, intrigue, and a little bit of magic. She's currently working on the sequel which includes some of the same popular characters titled, The Nested Charmer: Things Are Not As They Seem. She plans its release by the end of 2023.

Jessica just published, The Canine Cure: A Guide to Breaking Your Dog's Bad Habits. Through her many hours of training in canine etiquette, she has learned what works and what falls flat. In her lifetime, she has raised many pups of various breeds. Using positive reinforcement techniques, she has successfully trained her dogs to be happy, healthy companions. Over the years, she has bred AKC Cocker Spaniels, and Rottweilers.

Jessica Broyles is a retired school counselor who spent her career working with children and teens as an advocate and mentor. She learned early on that children and dogs, two of our most beloved family members, need love and positive reinforcement to live happy, well-adjusted lives. She writes her books at home in Titusville, Florida with her golden doodle, Charlie by her side.

Time is too slow for those who wait, too swift for those who fear, too long for those who grieve, too short for those who rejoice, but for those who love, time is eternity.
